Just a corner away!

It's crazy to think, 1 month from TODAY, we will be practicing for "Our Big Day" at rehearsal.
We're both so excited...for now anyway...Now if you ask us in a month, we might be a little bit nervous. :)

So sorry we haven't had this updated.
We've been busy with work, planning our wedding, and setting up housekeeping.
Work...We've both been blessed with full-time jobs with benefits.
Zacheri works for ThermoKing in Springfield. He installs and replaces the air conditioning units on semi trucks and trailers. He started there around the middle of March. He really enjoys this type of work.
I was offered a full-time job at Mid Missouri Bank in Bolivar. I am working as a Teller in the Drive-Thru. I love every minute of it. The thought of working in a bank was always a thought in the back of my mind, but I never thought I would actually be a bank employee.

Wedding planning is right down to the core now. It's so close. We're planning the last minute, little stuff now.

Housekeeping. The good man upstairs was really watching over us at this time. We thought we had a place to live, but as the saying goes, "Everything happens for a reason." We, then, started looking for places to rent. With the help of my mom, we went driving around Bolivar looking. She showed us a couple places that she knew of. Her boss had told her about an old farm house for rent in the Brighton area that was up for rent. We didn't really think anything of it at first because we knew we were second in line. Driving around, we went to look at it, Zacheri fell in love with it, even though we just seen the outside of it at the time. :) A couple of evenings later, the owner of the house called and said that if we liked it, it was ours. So we planned a day after work to look at it. We both fell in love with it. A great starter home. Prayers had definitely been answered in looking for us a home.

3 years down...A lifetime to go!

Sorry, still trying to get in the hang of this thing. I almost forgot I had made the blog. :)

3 years down...A lifetime to go!!
Today is 3 years that Zacheri and I have dated!
I have no idea what these last 3 years would be like, for me, without "Z" in my life. He is amazing, everything anyone could ever ask for.

Wedding plans are coming along very well. I had Spring Break two weeks ago, so my sister and I went wedding shopping. We found and ordered bridesmaid dresses and bought bridesmaid shoes. Tuxes have been chosen, now just waiting on July to get here so we can size all the boys...that way they won't gain too much weight and not fit in their tuxes by the time September gets here. :)

Speaking of my sister. I have no idea how we would be accomplishing all these wedding plans without her. She has helped with so much.
She is doing so much for Z and I!!
1. She has taken our engagement pictures.
2. She is maid-of-honor.
3. She is designing our wedding invitations.
4. Planning a personal shower for myself.
5. Will be doing our flowers for the wedding.
6. Decorating the church.
7. Taking before and after pictures from our wedding.
She has A LOT on her shoulders. But as creative and talented as she is, she will do awesome!.
We love you Sis!

I hope to keep our blog as updated as possible! Just bare with me. :)

My Day Off....

As I had the day off today, I decided to go knee deep in Wedding Planning...Well, maybe not KNEE DEEP. But I have decided on some things.

Wedding Party = check
Cake = check
Flowers = check
Colors = check

Wedding Dress = Ehh, not complete just yet--But dress shopping on Friday with my wonderful Mother, Sister, Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law to be! I'm so excited. :) Hope to find THE dress.

I've still got a ways to go, but as I get the little things done, it does take a weight off my shoulders...and probably every one else involved. :)

By the way, 8 months from TODAY, I will be Mrs. Emily Wheelbarger!!

Love You Grandma!!

Starting 2011 has been tough for my (Emily's) family. Never expected to lose a Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Aunt and friend.

Grandma Jean was an amazing woman. She taught everyone so much. She will be missed dearly by everyone. I love you, Grandma.
You're in a much better place now. Keep an eye on all of us grandkids, keep us in line. Love you.

Prayers are needed.

Christmas Together..

I haven't yet, got in the hang of this bloggin' thing. :) Just bare with me as I try.

As Zacheri and I were thinking about our Christmas' this year, we were disappointed in the beginning. With so many family gatherings on each side, it almost seemed impossible to attend every one of them. We didn't think we would be able to spend a few of our first Christmas gatherings together as a newly engaged couple..Thankfully, we got that figured out. We made time for all of our family gatherings. We didn't miss ONE of them!

I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful family(ies) ! :) Christmas '10 was WONDERFUL.

I was just telling Zacheri that it's hard to believe that this time next year, we will be Mr. and Mrs. Wheelbarger! We're both SO excited.

9/10/11 !!

We've decided on Sept. 10, 2011.
Zacheri liked the 9/10/11 idea.
After we discussed and decided on the day, my mom said that fits perfectly. Zacheri graduated in '09, I graduated in '10 and we're getting married in '11! Perfect!!! :)
